In order to keep astride with the times Bitmac Limited installed a new ‘Marini’ 70 ton per hour batching plant in 1974. Demand increased and in 1987, it was decided to once again upgrade our equipment. This time an even larger plant a ‘Goodwin Barsby’ was installed. Today our modern hot asphalt batching plant is capable of producing a maximum of 200 tons an hour. This hot material is laid and compacted by the most modern machinery operated by an experienced staff. |
